This book is about a little girl who is cared for by a foster family. When she is old enough she is sent to the Foundling Hospital to live her life until 14 when she will be sent to be a servant. The kitchen lady who's name is Ida is really nice to Hetty and sprinkles special sugar on her porridge. Another awesome book from Jacqueline Wilson!

Oh what a beautiful book! This is a heartwarming tale of a girl named Tashi who's Mother is ill. Her mother is a tea picker. Desperate for money to pay for a doctor, Tashi does the job herself. The Thornthwaite Inheritance

The Thorntwaite Inheritance
Gareth P. Jones

This book is about two children named Lorelli and Ovid Thorthwaite. The strange thing about them is that they can't stop trying to kill each other. They are not normal. The reason I love this book is that there are so many amazing schemes that the author has come up with. These are my top two:

Lorelli made a play about the French Revelution and cast Ovid as an aristocrat that was to be executed using a working guillotine.

Ovid put honey under Lorelli's horse's saddle which attracted Killer Bees.

There are exciting twists at the end- some good, some bad. Was it really Ovid who put the honey there? Get reading!

She can turn into a feather, and fly on the back of an owl. A twist- so can Dragwena.Rachael must save the thousands of children who are the witch's victims before it's too late!
